Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 17, 2026
This policy explains how Auto Shorts handles information when an approved user connects a Google account or uses the private dashboard.
Information processed
Auto Shorts processes dashboard usernames, security session identifiers, channel configuration, video files and metadata supplied by users, upload status, operational logs, and Google OAuth credentials required to access channels explicitly authorized by their owners. The application may retrieve basic channel identity information to display and select the authorized destination channel.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate approved users; connect authorized channels; prepare, schedule, and upload videos requested by users; show queue and upload status; prevent duplicate uploads; enforce channel permissions; and maintain security and reliability.
YouTube API Services and Google data
Auto Shorts uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth. By using those features, users also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and should review the Google Privacy Policy. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties.
Storage, security, and retention
OAuth credentials and application data are stored on access-controlled systems. Access is limited by role and channel assignment. Temporary working media is deleted after a verified upload when configured. Operational records and user-provided originals may be retained for security, recovery, and workflow purposes until removed by the operator or according to the configured retention policy.
Revoking access and deleting data
A user can revoke Auto Shorts access at any time from the Google Account connections page. Users may also ask the Auto Shorts administrator who provided their account or invitation to disconnect a channel and delete associated OAuth credentials, account information, uploaded media, and application records. Revoking Google access stops future API access but does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube.
Limited disclosure
Information may be disclosed to infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the service, when required by law, or to protect the service and its users. Auto Shorts does not permit humans to read Google user data except with the user's consent, for security or support, when required by law, or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Changes and contact
Material policy changes will be published on this page. Privacy or deletion requests should be sent to the Auto Shorts administrator who issued the dashboard account or channel invitation.
