Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Auto Shorts handles information when an approved user connects a Google account or uses the private dashboard.

Information processed

Auto Shorts processes dashboard usernames, security session identifiers, channel configuration, video files and metadata supplied by users, upload status, operational logs, and Google OAuth credentials required to access channels explicitly authorized by their owners. From YouTube API Services it may receive the authorized channel ID and title, video IDs, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, privacy status, upload status, and other metadata required for the upload and queue workflow. It does not request or store a user's Google password.

The website uses only essential session, CSRF, and security cookies or equivalent local browser storage. These technologies authenticate a signed-in session, protect forms, and prevent abuse; Auto Shorts does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate approved users; connect authorized channels; prepare, schedule, and upload videos requested by users; show queue and upload status; prevent duplicate uploads; enforce channel permissions; and maintain security and reliability.

YouTube API Services and Google data

Auto Shorts uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth. By using those features, users also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and should review the Google Privacy Policy. Google data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. The app displays the authorized destination channel before an upload and requires the user to choose the requested video visibility.

Storage, security, and retention

OAuth credentials and application data are stored on access-controlled systems. Access is limited by role and channel assignment. Temporary working media is deleted after a verified upload when configured. Auto Shorts uses YouTube API Services for an authorized channel identity and upload operations; it does not cache non-authorized YouTube metadata or maintain a separate YouTube search/catalog database. Temporary API responses are discarded after the operation. User-provided originals and upload records may be retained for security, recovery, and workflow purposes only as described by the service and until removed by the operator or according to the configured retention policy. If an API metadata cache is introduced later, it will be refreshed or deleted within 30 calendar days.

Revoking access and deleting data

To stop Google access immediately, open Google security settings or the Google Account connections page, select Auto Shorts, and choose Remove access.
To disconnect a channel in Auto Shorts, email support@puthearath.online from the account owner and include the dashboard username and channel name. Do not send a password, OAuth token, or client secret.
To request deletion of stored data, send the same email with the subject Auto Shorts data deletion request. We will acknowledge the request, stop future API access, revoke or delete stored OAuth credentials, and delete associated account/API data as soon as possible and no later than 7 calendar days. Token-revocation cleanup is completed within 30 calendar days.

Revoking Google access stops future API access but does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. To remove YouTube content, use YouTube Studio or an authorized API action that you explicitly confirm.

Limited disclosure

Information may be disclosed to infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the service, when required by law, or to protect the service and its users. Auto Shorts does not permit humans to read Google user data except with the user's consent, for security or support, when required by law, or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
